I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels they need to improve, especially after looking at so many wonderful artists here on Deviantart, especially creatively speaking. I mean, who wouldn't want some of the best designs ever or simply better looking art? That was when I took it upon myself take up a challenge in order to improve myself, or more specifically, my designing abilities.

The "15 Shuffle Challenge" is a method not only to force yourself to think outside the box, but to further practice and hone your sketching, inking, CG-ing, or whatever other abilities.

But what is it?

First...
Open up iTunes or any other music player. Go to Party Shuffle (if in iTunes) or shuffle your entire library. Then press play. Write down the first fifteen songs that play.

Next...
Take each of those songs and write them down. You can go get the lyrics (if the songs have them) off of google or whatever you want. You are going to use these songs to create a character, so in the end, you'll end up with fifteen brand-spanking new subjects to draw or write about.

Last...
Sketch these characters, outline them, do whatever you want. If you choose, go ahead and post your ideas up on Deviantart. Maybe someone else is using the same song, but interpreted it differently and thus made a completely different type of character.

So now it's up to you to take up the "15 Shuffle Challenge" (15SC). Spread the word and, if you plan on participating, drop me a line! Let's see how far we can go as the designers of dA!

That took FAR too much effort. I had to plug in my ext. HD, add everything to my library and THEN play it all xD; Far too much like hard work. Normally, I am far, far pickier with whatever I listen to at that particular moment. Or lazy [as in, will listen to an album, artist, on repeat because it's too much hassle to think of who to listen to instead].
